About Me
ABOUT ME
I am just an average person [yeah I know not very exciting] I work full time for an electronics company in South Melbourne. Actually before going any further I need to clarify something, yes I am from Turkey but I am a freaking atheist and a good leftist. I generally tolerate pretty much anyone-everyone except intolerant people. So no need to worry, no one will be judged by me for being Armenian-Greek-Jewish, in contrary I particularly enjoy these people's company. I have low level of tolerance for smoking and intolerantly religious-nationalist-conservative people but It hasn't been a problem so far, so I try and do tolerate I guess. anyway...
I like chatting with friends over a beer or food, speaking of food, before moving to Australia I thought I would miss Turkish food so much but Asian food is so bloody good, I don't really miss Turkish food, which is also very good. I love garlic and I cook a very special pasta :) (some of you may now say "how special could a pasta dish be, believe me it is) dish, it is with yoghurt garlic and butter chilli sauce mmm so good :) Something I love and haven't given up on is Turkish breakfast, I love it and cook it most of the weekends. It is omelet with salami/sausage, cheese, olives, tomato-cucumber and honey, this is what I call a real breakfast, of course with bread and tea, I think I am hungry..
My perception of having fun is gathering with friends, catching up, exploring a place, playing kids' games. Pillow fight is something I enjoy so much, also Americans have a game called "Never have I ever" I love that one too. I enjoy playing basketball, tennis (I have played only once and am looking forward to playing again in summer), volleyball, I also like camping and swimming. I don't watch sports on TV. I haven't gotten into Aussie sports yet but I do want to learn, footy seems like a fun game. I'm like a kid when I have fun and quite serious-mature when needed.
You would be surprised by my ignorance but I need to tell, I don't know almost any celebrities, I do enjoy a movie or a book but I don't feel the need of learning the names of actors or author.
I love rabbits and pine trees. I had two rabbits when I was in the middle school, one was eaten by a cat and the other one died because of loneliness and cold :( sad story, I had another one when I was at university, it also died of cold weather, speaking of weather I am a summer person, which was part of why I moved to Australia, but Melbourne is too bloody cold, no offense though I love it. Also you people drive on the wrong side of the road :)
Do I need to tell I love traveling? I love being outdoors. I enjoy tea and beer, of course not together at different times.
-------------------------------------------------------
I moved to Melbourne in November, please don't expect me to know much about it...

The quotations and proverbs below describe my personal philosophy..

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I was washing my rabbit, water was neither hot nor cold, my rabbit showed her teeth and started screaming, her voice was incredibly high and i was really scared, i didn't really know what to do, just took her out of the bowl and dried, everything was perfectly normal. by the way, rabbits are so beautiful but not when they are wet, they look like mice then :)
Teach, Learn, Share
I can try to teach you Turkish (I have tried and found out that it is very difficult to teach your native language). How to cook some Turkish food (I brought a Turkish cookbook and it is really cool) I consider myself to be a good observer, so I have some stuff to talk about.
I brought a musical instrument called "Saz" and I want to learn how to play it.
