Overview
About Me
My name is Nuria, I grew up in Barcelona, but when I was 7 years old I moved to Madrid. I am an engineering student. I like science and technology and everything related to these fields.
If I have to describe myself in three adjectives, I would say that I am: adventurous, an open-minded and ambitious person.
I could say something else, but I leave that for when we meet and have a deep conversation.
I am a non-conformist, and I dream of traveling around the world with a caravan, a surfboard and diving and parachuting everywhere I stop, in a hippie plan.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Right now, I want to leave my comfort zone and I have decided to spend 1 month out of my country travelling around Europe with a backpack and two friends. Maybe we end up killing each other, but that's what you, the host, are for.
When I travel to your country I want to know your culture, your way of life and your society. I want to share knowledge and have new perspectives because I really like the experience of meeting people and helping and being helped.
CS is a way to travel. I have the feeling that CS is going to make me enjoy this experience 100% and finally be able to say that I have known from within the culture of YOUR country.
Also, I promise that I will teach you how to make a Spanish omelette.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: All the Spanish music, is quite good although it does not have much fame. Imagine Dragons, James Blunt, Kesha, Dualipa and Dennis Lloyd.
In general, I like all movies, but I love thrillers and action movies. My favorite movie is Into the wild, it describes my dream perfectly.
I am a lover of poetry, books by Pedro Salinas or Neruda, among others. Also, I am very supportive of the philosophy books, they help open your mind
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I was in Croatia, living there for two weeks. One day in the morning, I saw a boat that left the island with diving equipment and I was very envious.
So the next day, I already had a teacher who taught me everything I needed to be able to dive afterwards anywhere; And days later we were going down to 20 meters deep. It is amazing, the bottom of the sea, it is an experience that I would repeat without a doubt.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you how to cook typical of my country and a bit of Spanish and Catalan.
I also want to learn the most of your country: culture, gastronomy, language, EVERYTHING.
What I Can Share with Hosts
With my host I can share experiences and conversations that maybe you do not have with anyone on any given day.
I want to transmit knowledge of my country and the thought we have, and I want you to guide me through the streets of your city
