ABOUT US

Hi everyone here is Núria and Dani. We are a couple from Spain currently living and working in New Zealand.

We love learning new skills, meet new people and enjoy the diversity of others countries/cultures.
My partner and I have been travelling and living in the Pacific area for more than 6 years. We are passioned in sailing and watersports. We are well active, hard workers and productive people.

Núria is a mechanical engineer, desiging electric boats.
Dani is a naval enginyeer, calculating structures in carbon fibre for boats.
Yes, we both work in the marine sector, we are passioned about sea.

WHAT WE CAN SHARE
We like cooking Spanish Tortilla (Tortilla de patatas), Mediterranean Salads and some veggie or chicken potagges.
We can help you to organize your next adventure to Spain or New Zealand.
We can talk about kitesurfing, wingfoiling, sailing around the world and marine technology.

PHILOSOPHY

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Rhe first time thst Núria heard about Couchsurfing was in 2012 by Jan Engel and Arthur Detterer. They were doing CS in Nuria's town (La Bisbal). They explained her about CS and she started with her profile.
In March of 2013 she hosted her first CS: Merle Petersen, was a nice experience.
In 2014 she was living in Barcelona and she hosted 2 more CS.
In the same year went to live in Belgium and started going to some amphitrions houses. All her experience were successful!

Then, moved away into the Pacific with Dani and have not used Couchsurfing much. Just some meet ups with people that become good friends.

We want to get back into it :)

Bringing good and positive mood at work, good vives at work makes the day easier.

We usually practice different sports during the week.
We practice kitesurfing, wingfoiling, dinghy sailing, padel tennis and some latin dance (batchata and salsa).

We've sailed the Atlantic Ocean in 2017 and the Pacific Ocean in 2018.

We love sports! We play padel tennis, sailing, diving, climbing, rugby, sky, basketball, and whatever! Also we love music, Dani plays the guitar.

I've worked in a restaurants, boats, tourism, sailing coauches and more in the past.
