About Me
I am working as a Veterinary Consultant at the Institute of Epidemiology, Disease Control and Research (IEDCR) in Global Health Security Agenda Project. I am passionate in harnessing the power of diversity by building collaboration with multidisciplinary professionals under One Health umbrella. I am also interested to combine strategic foresight, One Health, and Ecohealth approaches to address the interconnected issues and challenges of emerging infectious diseases and neglected zoonotic diseases with the focus of wildlife health and conservation of nature. My working experiences include research on Nipah Encephalitis, Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza and conservation research of Bats. I am serving as a member of the IUCN Bat Specialist Group and I have graduated Masters in Veterinary Medicine (Biosecurity & wildlife health) under the One Health Fellowship Program of Massey University, New Zealand.
