About Me

I am a happy and curious guy living in a small historical town of Škofja Loka in Slovenia. I'm feeling that life is passing by if you don't do new thing, go somewhere and learn new ways of living. I was given the opportunity to live, breathe and explore. And I want to find out what really is that great about mysterious timeline we call life.

In the past years I got a few hints towards getting my answer. Travel, Music, Art and Love. That are the four elements that describe me, my plans and my meaning of life. Therefore I like to express my feelings and thoughts in so many ways that it becomes a little confusing and strange. :D
And so I got the fifth missing element, which is Spirit. Being able to emotionally, intellectually and philosophically connect with others, and take conversations to a new level.

The world is here and I want to remember it forever.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As a passionate hitchhiker I always try to get the best adventure from traveling. Let it be from sightseeing beautiful towns, wandering in the endless nature or standing beside the road in the middle of nowhere and giving a big thumbs up to the drivers passing by :D
And why not combine all this with a totally new way of exploring places and meeting people? Couchsurfing is just the best companion of hitchhiking! You are not only the observer of a city, but you become a part of it by meeting locals and thereby sharing personal experiences, cooking great meals and doing things you wouldn't do without Couchsurfing.

Music, Movies, and Books

I am a big fan of movies, especially psychological thrillers and some crazy horrors to get my blood flowing. I'm also interested in older movies because they come with new ideas that world havent't seen before back then.

At first I started listening classic rock, but over the years it spread from psychedelic rock, heavy metal and thrash metal to reggae, dub and goa trance and also some rap :D

I enjoy reading short books in the summertime that hit you with a message instantly, mostly spiritual like The Alchemist and The Little Prince. One of my favourite is The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy :D

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've done my biggest hitchhiking so far, 4500km in Greece and Turkey, nomadic style :) Everyday somewhere else, making fire in the unspoiled nature, wildcamping, enjoying the midnight stars and meeting with local people.

I spent a night near the swamp in Bosnia, and it turned out that this was not a good place to chose :P A thunderstorm showed up and animals around went crazy, one of them even bumped into the tent.

Teach, Learn, Share

If you want I can teach you how to play guitar, or we can have a jam if you already play something :)
I can share my photography and graphic design skills or give some tips and I wouldn't mind to get some advice and comments on my works.
