I do travel a lot so hosting will be sporadic. I just moved to yellowknife from Inuvik so I am still a tourist in the city myself. I was the last couchsurfer in inuvik so I doubt you will find anyone up there for awhile. I do have a husky but he is very friendly.

If you come for the northern lights do not book the tour ahead of time. It is not uncommon for cloud cover to block the view and if you are up for a 20-30 minute walk I can tell or show you where you may view them for free.

If you are looking to book a hotel or B&B book it over two months in advance as the aurora viewing keeps everything full. I am usually fully booked one month in advance but there are other couch surfers in town and not sure how full they get.

If you travel to Asia and if our schedules coincide there may be an ability to host you there. With enough advance notice I may be able to provide a key in some manner ahead of time if I can get a spare key to security if I am not there.
