About Me

CURRENT MISSION

See the world while I can.

ABOUT ME

I'm a student in California currently studying in Germany with my wife. I am hoping to see as much of the world as I can. I come from an agricultural city in the middle of nowhere and am glad to traveling so far abroad. I have done some traveling in my life, but never enough, never enough.

PHILOSOPHY

I think the world has a lot of potential, and I want to be a part of realizing that potential. I don't know how, but I'm always on the lookout.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I learned about Couch Surfing not long ago, and I think it is a terrific idea. I hope to surf and host often, and look forward to meeting new people.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have had no experiences yet, hopefully I'll be able to update this profile with some of my experiences soon!

Interests

I like to read, travel with my wife, and play video games. I'm comfortable working outside in a garden or greenhouse, or inside writing a story. I'm a nightmare at cooking, but it when dealing with recipes I can manage. I love to learn, but have been in school too long I think; it's time for something new.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love books by Orson Scott Card and Patrick Rothfuss. I think the writer who most influenced me is Robert Heinlein. I am a total sucker for science fiction and fantasy. I like to listen to all kinds of music, from Nine Inch Nails to Dr Dre to Aaron Copeland. My favorite movies are Serenity and Pulp Fiction.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I can't think of anything amazing I've done or seen. I've visited a few different countries, and just flown over a few others. I left my hometown, and getting out of my hometown is a challenge.

Teach, Learn, Share

I have very few practical skills. I have learned a little computer programming, and collected random computer knowledge. I've studied a little linguistics in both English and German. I study Literature and Philosophy. I roll very poor cigarettes.
