About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Enrich myself with the cultures of the world and learn from experience
ABOUT ME
I enjoy learning new things and am up to try just about anything. I can be extremely nerdy at times. My humor tends to run more on the dry side and I don't take anything too seriously.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Right now, I'm traveling around without a home. I hope to help build the CS community through providing good interactions with the people I come in contact with to help build the positive reputation of couchsurfing. When I'm done traveling and have a place of my own, I'll do my best to return the hospitality I receive while on the road.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've never couchsurfed
Interests
Some of the activities I enjoy are snorkeling( would love to try scuba diving sometime), sailing, Brazilian jiu jitsu (not very good, but it is a ton of fun and a great workout), skiing, listening to good music, seeing art and making some, eating delicious food, and having new experiences/meeting new people.

Music, Movies, and Books
Movies- Wes Anderson films like the Royal Tenenbaums; Fight Club; Lawrence of Arabia; The Godfather pts 1 & 2
Music- Lots but in particular Jazz(not Kenny G. style); Indie Rock such as the Shins; Classic Rock such as Beatles or Tom Petty; Classical like Chopin & Mozart; some rap but not really; and when the mood is right like in a club I like club/electronic music like Lady Gaga or Daft Punk
Books- I've read the Tao of Pooh a couple times and like it more each time. The book Endurance about the true story of Ernest Shackleton is incredible. Kon-Tiki is also an fun nonfiction read. I don't read much fiction because I find the world fascinating as it is.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
This is kinda lame, but I can't think of anything at the moment. When I was a freshman in college me and some guys I lived with had a contest at the dining hall to see who could eat the most chicken nuggets. I won having ate 100 chicken nuggets in about 30 minutes. I felt terrible afterward.
Teach, Learn, Share
Teach- basics in biochemistry/physics/astronomy, sailing, fundamentals of investing in options markets, basics of chess.
Learn- anything, but especially topics related to nerdy or philosophical topics and always cooking.
Share- We could share a chess game, a drink, a talk, a stroll.
