About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I'm willing to visit every country that interests me, learn about its culture and most importantly, meet lots of people :)

ABOUT ME

I WON'T BE IN LA SPEZIA FOR SOME WEEKS BECAUSE OF UNIVERSITY AND STUFF

Ok, I'll try to be as honest as I can... therefore I'll start my description making a list of my defects. I'm very absent-minded, I tend to forget things very easily, sometimes I'm a little dupe (but not always) and it's very hard for me to lie, even when I should. And I laugh noisily. Except that, I'm funny, open minded and easy going. I'm very curious about other cultures, customes and usages. I've always wanted to travel not only to visit new places, but also to make new friends all over the world :) I love to read, to draw and to walk around by myself listening to music as well as I love to hang out with friends.

PHILOSOPHY

'A stranger is just a friend I haven't met yet'... I don't know who said it, I found it on a pub's wall xD

Interests

I have many interests and hobbies, I love music (from classical to metal, punk, pop, rock.. basically, anything!), manga, comics, pirates, Japanese and northern cultures, movies... and I love IKEA! And dress up like an idiot and walk around with my friends scaring people. well, this still hasn't happened, but I'll convince them... I want a pirate-day! and then a Fantasy-characters-day! and then an alien-day, a Christmas-day (not on Christmas...) and a zombie-day and so on... yes, I'm infantile, noisy and dumb, so if you have no patience I suggest not to come close to me XD

Music, Movies, and Books

I've always loved reading. It's just that kind of passion that never goes away. during examination sessions I don't read anything except coursebooks and I get stressed and nervous... right after last exam I finished two books in one day, barely interrupting for going to the toilet. I hope I'll work in publishing someday... anyway! my favorite authors are Neil Gaiman, Terry Pratchett, Diana Wynne Jones, Joe R. Lansdale, George R. R. Martin, James Ellroy, Chuck Palahniuk, Chaim Potok, Walter Moers, Natsume Soseki... and maaany others! And no matter what you say, Harry Potter is a masterpiece.
I listen to lots of metal bands, but also to... well, actually I love any kind of music which has some 'soul' in it... a short list: Smashing Pumpkins, Nirvana, Weezer, Flogging Molly, Dropkick Murhphys, Mumford and Sons, Ska-p, Musica per bambini, Slipnot, Alestorm, Necrodeath, Sabaton, The Muffs, Korpiklaani, Finntroll, Equilibrium...
I'm not very fond of cinema, but I definitely love Tarantino, Nolan, Gondry, Scorsese, Burton, MIyazaki...
oh, and Jay and Silent Bob and Jack Black (which are not director, but whatever...)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I think the Summer Breeze 2010... awesome. a metal music festival which lasted for 4 days. mosh is my nirvana.

Teach, Learn, Share

Uhm. What can I teach here? Maybe to be patient? xD I don't know. maybe we can share some of our experiences. I can give great advice about books and some nice ones about music. and if you're looking for someone to listen to you, I'm the right person. but that's it, there's nothing else I canteach. unless you're looking for an 'akunamatata experience' xD
