Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To be a citizen of the world.
ABOUT ME
Cosmopolitan, easy-going, ever-curious about how culture and language connects people to one another. Growing up as a missionary’s kid exposed me to people from all walks of life and I love understanding how different yet similar we all are.
I like food, music, nature, and interesting conversations.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm the kind of traveler who'll check out the "real" parts of town and save the fancy-schmancy places for later. My first couchsurfing experiencing was a blast and so I got hooked (back in 2009). Nowadays, I’m just here for the hangouts. I’ll never verify my account or pay for this service because 1) the app sucks and 2) the CS movement was founded on principles of sharing and community plus most of the interactions are happening outside of the app anyway.

Currently exploring techno. Classically trained and played the piano at church until I was a teenager.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Swam with ~200 dolphins and melon-head whales in Apo Reef. This gave me a lot of perspective on our connection to nature and how we value life.
Travelled alone throughout Europe. It was good for the soul and built a lot of character.
