Hi / Salut / Hola!

After spending 10 years focused on my career, I quit! I want to see what else exists beyond the corporate world. I'm hoping that exploring the world on my own will lead me to find new passions. I'm excited to meet new people, experience local culture, and just enjoy whatever is out there!

I just spent three months in South America -- in Colombia, Ecuador, Paraguay, Uruguay, Argentina, and Brazil. I followed that up with an impromptu trip to Mauritius. Now I'm in Europe for its summer; so far, I've hit Spain, Greece, Cyprus, and Italy.

I'm currently improving my Spanish, and would be happy to practice with anyone. I can also offer help with English or French.

I'm new to Couchsurfer, but eager to make the most of it and show you how great a guest I can be! I'm a bit of a clean freak, so I'll be sure to keep your place just as clean as I keep my own. And I'll be very respectful of your lifestyle, routine, and home. Beyond that, I'm very easy-going. So let's have some fun together!

Música, películas y libros

Music-wise, I like almost anything -- the exception to that is country. Faves are R&B, hip hop, reggae, dancehall, progressive house, pop, salsa, and jazz. And I love any live bands.

When it comes to reading, I like non-fiction. Anything that expands my knowledge base and/or speaks to self-improvement interests me. I'm also open to any recommended good reads!

Movies: I love those with action, adventure, comedy, and the occasional stand-out rom-com. Some faves include most of the Marvel movies, Warrior, 16 Blocks, Taken, Man on Fire, and The Proposal.

I taught my cat to use the toilet, instead of a litter box. Ok, that's a bit of a cheat because it's really she who's doing the amazing thing!

My thing was illegal so ask me about it in person and I'll be happy to share. No evidence in writing... :)
