About Me

Positive, relaxed, always in for a good laugh, loves to hike, will do your dishes, always happy to meet new people and get more experiences. Let's meet, let's talk and get to know each other in stead of me typing, hea?

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I really like the idea of meeting people while traveling. While enjoying the hostel atmosphere, a friend recommended me to couchsurfing and the few times I did it. I had great experiences!

I've been couchsurfing in Ireland, New Zealand and Scotland a bit.

Interests

Many! Hiking, reading, international relations, so politics, wine, coffee, snowboarding, traveling (obviously), sports, yoga, fooood!, french movies (yes, seriously ;)), music festivals, etc.

Music, Movies, and Books

Yes, yes, yes! Love french movies of which I forget the names right away, but also movies like Charles Winston's War, Milk, Amor. Love and need music especially during cooking, washing dishes and traveling, Dylan, Stones, Boy&Bear, Ben Harper, Bon Iver(!). Books: yes, read the Kiterunner, Poor Economics, the Japanese Hukimi-something, these sort of books. Currently reading "The 100 year old man, who stepped out of the window and disappeared".

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Trekking in Nepal was absolutely cool, but also looking at the Taj Mahal in India or being on the Ghanes river in the early morning, were unforgetable. There were many and I am really happy and grateful for all small and bigger amazing things that I have experienced so far.

Teach, Learn, Share

I do speak a wee bit of Spanish and love to write Dutch for Dummies Speedcourses on A4s. Could also learn you yoga basics, and how to cook amazing veggy meals (that can be shared with meat-eaters ;)).

Countries I’ve Visited

India, New Zealand, Peru, Thailand, Tunisia

Countries I’ve Lived In
