I love people. I enjoy collecting stories, and learning with people through their life experiences. I enjoy traveling and meeting people where they are at and speaking truth into their lives. I can't wait for my next adventure--partly to see the beauty of our world, partly to meet new people, and partly to eat amazing food!

when you help people get what they want, you'll get what you want. When you see people for who they are, instead of who they see themselves, you see yourself surrounded by amazing people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've slept on many couches in my lifetime. I am grateful for friends all around the world who have taken me in from 30 minutes to 2-3 weeks depending on life. I have been in RV's and trailers to multi-million dollar homes. No matter where i've been, it's the people who will always be a part of my ilfe.

Interests

i love getting to know people, and hearing their stories. topics that i love are any stories that allow us to connect with the each other on a heart to heart level--after all, it's through getting to know others that i get to know myself in ways i would never have been able to learn.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One life changing moment happened summer of 2004, I had the opportunity to visit an orphanage in Romania. I fell in love with each of the beautiful little ones. They have so much love for life and a passion for every moment. They were happy to share everything they had with us visitors. It was a treat to just spend some time with them loving on them. When we left, i couldn't stop the tears from leaking out of my eyes. One little girl saw me tear up and kept saying "don't cry, Karis. don't cry. We're ok. We'll be ok. don't cry." She kept repeating that as i got on the bus, and followed me outside til i found my seat, and with her hand on the window, she kept saying "don't cry". As our bus drove away, i saw her running after us until she was just a speck.
I will always remember her sweet face. I will always remember her courage. I will always remember her zeal and passion for life. I will always remember her generous spirit.
