My mission, go everywhere, see everywhere, i love to travel and meet new people, to show visiting surfers around new york and why its such a great town

ABOUT ME

I graduated from college a few years ago and am finally out on my own living in Manhattan.

I'd like to eventually become a writer, but as thats not an easy task I'm often taking temp jobs.

The great part about this is that I'm not tied down to any permanent job.

I'm trying to take this period of my life when I'm not tied down to a specific day job to get out and travel the world.

I've visited several countries, in Europe, and want to see more. I've been to Australia.

I'd like to see South America and africa at some point as well.

When im not traveling or working I'm a big fan of going to see a good movie, hanging out or just grabbing a beer.

PHILOSOPHY

i live life for the moment. who knows when they'll come but every now and then there's a perfect moment and living is all about holding on to it.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

More than anything I just want to see the world, and I know that I'm not the only one.

New Yorks a great town but it sure is expensive. I'd like give the people the opporutnity to see manhattan and experience new york, and the united states in general.

Travel interests me(obvious eh?). I'm interested in all sorts of stuff from nano-technology to greek mythology. I like sports books music. talk to me about anything, odds are im interested

Música, películas y libros

Some of my favorites include The Big Lebowski, Pulp Fiction, Platoon, Shawshank Redmption and mostly anything by Monty Python. I like weird movies, action movies, westerns, stupid comedies. I'll take them all rolled into one if the final product is watchable.

Music - I'm generally a rocker, interest lie from 60's to 70's rock, but i also like 90's punk, some hip hop and other random stuff

books - catch22, the stranger, Game of thrones, Maltese Falcon, good graphic novels. I like alot of stuff

rappelling (abseiling) down a 300 ft cliff in australia was amazing. it scared the crap out of me but i had to do it, afterwards i climbed back up the mountain and did it again. Just haning spinning around and seeing the mountains and the huge freaking drop below me. so thrilling, i'd do it again in a heart beat. and again, and again

Not much to say here that i can think. what i will say is if you are visiting new york and use the LIRR or Metro north, buy your ticket before you get on the train! It will save you a ton of trouble/money
