About Me

I'm a German/Dutch girl and just finished almost two years of work and travel through New Zealand and Australia. I've travelled in my own car alone or with friends, I travelled in their cars, I tried hitchhiking and explored the countries by bike, foot and kayak. It was an awesome experience.
Now I'm back home but I still go and explore my city/country or other places as much as I can :D

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to get to know new people, get an insight of the lives of the locals and share experiences and talks :)

Interests

One of the reasons I travel is to put more time into doing the things I enjoy. I bought a Ukulele in NZ and started practicing which brought me some fun jam sessions. I learned quite a few new card games and always like to teach them to other people.
When I stayed in Napier for a couple of months I got into playing pool which I still like doing whenever I have the chance to.
I'm really fascinated by the stars and the universe so I enjoy just watching the night sky and possibly taking some pictures of it as well.
I like photography, taking pictures, and in my free time I enjoy drawing and painting a lot.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm into Goa, Techno, Deep House, Chill and just electronic music in general at the moment but I listen to Reggae and Pop and other genres, too. Also I'm always happy to try out new music.
I enjoy watching Scifi movies a lot as well as comedy movies. Interstellar is my absolute favourite and the new Jumanji film is just amazing.
In terms of books I'd say I tend to read fictional books but basically the genre varies quite often. I recently read "Around the world in 80 days" and "the alchemist" which I found very inspiring.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Driving around NZ with everything I need packed in my car and sleeping at the most beautiful free campgrounds was quite amazing :)

Teach, Learn, Share

Currently I'd love to see more places in Europe.
I can teach you some German and Dutch if you want and I'm able to find some star constellations in the night sky which I'd be happy to share with you.
