Most importantly we want to make our home available to surfers in order to help them with travel expenses and to meet fellow travelers.

ABOUT ME

Dan's dad was in the Air Force so he moved around quite a bit. He has lived overseas, on both coasts, in the midwest and now in NM. Vikki was born and raised in Santa Fe and has also lived overseas. Both Dan and Vikki were Army officers.

PHILOSOPHY

Life's journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well preserved body. But rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out, shouting "Holy cow, what a ride!"

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We have been hosting since June 2008. A great experience for us so far and we highly recommend to anyone that wants to meet and acquire new friends. We surfed in Germany and had a great time with new friends.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We have both surfed and hosted and we find the entire CS experience to be just wonderful. How else could we meet and get to know so many wonderful people?

Interests

Auto racing, travel, beer can and brewiana collecting, and having fun. Dan and Vikki both race their own Mazda Miata in autocross with the Sports Car Club of America and a local club known as Racing Southwest. We also run with a local vintage race club called Southwest Motor Sports.

Dan: spent a week on a glacier. Vikki: national champion powerlifter.

Teach, Learn, Share

The world is so large and small at the same time that to pick anything specific is too limiting. We learn something new everyday and hopefully help others to learn something new everyday.
