About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To lead a conscious life, with the best intentions toward others.
ABOUT ME
I am a professional, single parent of three wonderful children. We live a healthy lifestyle and have a positive outlook on life. We try to eat an organic diet as much as possible and we grow some of our vegetables.
We enjoy meeting people from different cultures and ethnic backgrounds. I hope to do a lot more travelling with my two younger children, to enrich our minds and broaden our horizons!
I work as a Nurse in the area of General Medicine and have a strong interest in natural health. I try to grow many of our own vegetables and I am a great believer in Organically grown food.
My children go to a Waldorf Steiner School in the Wellington area. The philosophy of the school incorporates many of the beliefs we practice and carry out in our daily life, such as being conscious of our thoughts, protecting childhood, eating organically and maintaining a healthy balance with the natural environment.
At present, my children and I live with my Mother, which is wonderful for the children to grow up knowing their grandparent. However, we are unable to host others, as it is not our home and we are limited regarding space. I hope in the near future this will change and we can enjoy the company of many from other lands.
PHILOSOPHY
I believe in equality for all and that everyone on this earth is important.
I am conscious of my thoughts and work hard to maintain a positive outlook on life. I see myself as a role model for my children, therefore I practice what I preach!
Working in harmony with nature is of utter most importance to me.
Good intentions toward others, is what I try to practice in my daily life.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
My teenage children and I experienced the lively culture of Melbourne, Australia in 2009/10. We were very fortunate to have wonderful people in the CS community as hosts. They allowed us to be part of their special lives for a short time, which we found very enriching and rewarding. So, thank you CS Hosts in Melbourne, for letting us spend quality time with
you.
