ABOUT ME

Latest update Aug 2015....Finished traveling for a while...now based in Melbourne...
Firstly, just confirming I am based in Alice Springs. My family has grown and I have started my travelling. Home now for a while, so happy to host fellow travellers.
As a Couchie Host for a number of years I have really been enriched by the people I have met. I hope that the couchies that I get to visit in my travels keep enriching those experiences.
I am currently based in Alice Springs. I am happy to meet for coffee etc. As Alice Springs relies on tourism I do encourage you to use the local accomodation. Happy to meet for coffee or have you around for a meal.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I really want to promote the CS community so looking to involve myself in events in the region.
I also want to promote the fact that CS is not just for the young travellers. That this community is open for all travellers of all ages.
PS I still love to host all Couchies

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have been a active host when I was living in NZ. It helped that we had a fabulous house on the beach so it was great to see the couchies unwind.
I have done a little surfing myself in India and Sri lanka. It is a little funny when you are on the receiving end, instead of the giving.
I really want to promote the CS community so looking to involve myself in events in the region.

Interests

Family, adventures, travel, dance, music, art, books,foreign films.....outdoors, a little wine, make it up as you go along. I have a policy of trying to say yes to everything that is offered as an experience. I just want to keep my life full and interesting.

I am always open to appreciating others interests. It allows mine interests to broaden.
I always check out "eventfinder" to see what is going on around me. I have found some amazing live music this way

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Each and every sunrise or sunset in every country just offers a great start/finish. It makes me smile every time.
And the moon, amazing but it is always a constant in our lives too.
