About Me

CURRENT MISSION

'finding himself' - ex girlfriend

ABOUT ME

My name is Campbell and I'm from New Zealand. I've travelled quite a bit and have enjoyed the csing for much of it.

I studied for quite a while, now I work as a journalist of sorts.

I grow beards sometimes for fun and when that gets boring I shave them into moustaches. Unfortunately guys seem to be more impressed with my creations than girls. One time though in a chinese restaurant we played a game that was like a cross between jenga and pick up sticks using chopsticks and my beard...

My favourite things to talk about (here's a heads up: mention these in a couch request for bonus points) are journalism, photography, politics, tramping/hiking/trekking/mountaineering/outdoorshit, good books and cheap beer. Oh and weird food, charcuterie and meat in general. I generally try and limit my pissing contests regarding ultimate traveller bullshit but sometimes that comes up in conversation too.

PHILOSOPHY

More cowbell.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I love to meet new people so why not send me a message and maybe we can meet up?

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

2009 was a great introduction to couchsurfing for me. Whether surfing or running into csers, csing has had a big impact on my travels.

Now trying to organise more experiences! So far they have been all good!
