I am a mum with older boys who are now doing their own thing. Left at home to roam and meet new friends. I like the States, especially Georgia and would love to go back there

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

It has been many moons since I have been able to Couchsurf but I am now more settled and able to offer up a place to stay

I have made some truly awesome friends through couchsurfing.
Rachel and Shane - took me to a blues bar, around Dallas at night on a motorbike and to see the Jazz band that Shane plays in.
Andrew showed me the american version of KIWI RUGBY that they play, and took me to meet his friends in the team at Little Five Point. That is such a cool place.
Steve and Ellen have been more than accepting and have opened their house to me more than once. This couple have hearts that are pure gold.
Rodney showed what a true gentleman he is by picking me up from DFW at 1:30am and then sleeping on his couch so I could have a bed. Thank you so much..........
Genelda had me come and stay in Waycross after a place to stay fell through.
Schelley, such a beautiful and generous spirit. She opened her home to me and showed me around the Brunswick area even though she was very busy. I loved the storm that swept through as well.
Frankie......seriously people, this guy is great. Shared his home while I found a place to live. Thank you.........

Intereses

I like music, dancing, drinking occasionally with friends around a BBQ. Love beaches and fishing....walking through nature

Music - mostly any kind of music. Recently went to a Cirque de soliel show in Auckland but actual musical concert I went to was Disturbed lol couldn't hear for 3 days haha

Right now, I am back in New Zealand. Couchsurfing in the States was an awesome experience to be able to be there and meet so many people. Home will always be home but now that I have the travel bug - anything is possible

I have learnt that sometimes it is cheaper to buy the car and the gps rather than hiring while travelling. Thats if you are anywhere for a longer period of time.
