ABOUT ME

I love to travel, meet new people and learn about other ways of life. I love to read books, watch films and people-watch in foreign cities, in the sun. I love music, listening to it and playing it (I play cello and am learning guitar).

I don't know quite yet what I want to do after university but it will involve travel and people and doing something constructive that makes a difference (people can do this in so many ways).

I like to have fun and have new experiences!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I travelled throughout the summers of 2009 and 2010 and couchsurfed all over Europe. I met some awesome people who helped me scratch the surface of their cities and see beyond what many tourists experience- and I feel like I made friends who I will be excited to see again when the chance arises. My last couchsurfing experience was in lebanon and was so great, now I am back home in Auckland and ready to open my house up to couchsurfers. Can't wait to contribute back to
the couchsurfing karma!

Musik, Filme und Bücher

I love foreign films and ones that make you think. I must also admit that I like a good girly movie every now and then.

Fave tv shows include Curb Your Enthusiasm, Twin Peaks ( I am in love with Coop, for those of you who have seen this) and Arrested Development, also Family Guy and The Simpsons (a classic).

Currently re-reading Dharma Bums by Jack Kerouac, My favourite books are by him, JD Salinger and Hunter S Thompson. Ones that involve travel and adventures....

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

A few months ago I learnt how to paraglide and jumped off a cliff and flew a few times with the parachute.
