About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Adventure!

ABOUT ME

I've hit 27, the late twenties, but still getting better every year, totally excited about life. Jazzed about being in a new place, about new challenges and adventures in general. I ride my bike everywhere, and it's a thrill to be in a crazy hilly city like San Francisco! I definitely have the travel bug. I try to practice tai chi and meditate every day. I'm leading a charmed life, having a ball.

PHILOSOPHY

Live the life you love and love the life you live.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Looking forward to someday hosting folks! I haven't yet surfed. So far when I've traveled I've been able to find friends of friends or friendly strangers IRL who've put me up. I think maybe I won't always be so lucky, so here I am!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've lived in collectives where traveling folks came through regularly. It was great meeting different types of people and finding out about the places they call home.

Interests

movement of all kinds, heady conversations, free events, talks and readings, skillshares, cultural production, intellectual stimulation, new people and places, anarcha-feminism, food not bombs, literature, languages, cognitive science, mystery, adventure, wind and wave, the night sky

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I hitchhiked across the United States, New York to San Francisco, and spent a month visiting amazing places.

Teach, Learn, Share

I've taught and continue to study yoga and meditation. I study black history and the meaning of freedom as a grad student. I'm learning about herbs kind of casually, but I can make you a mean herbal tea blend. I can recommend things to do around the Bay Area.

I'd love some sewing skillshares.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm friendly and fun. You might say I have a sparkling personality. I make friends easily and enjoy conversations on all sorts of topics. I'm neat and tidy and a good cook. Generally up for adventures.

Countries I’ve Visited

Argentina, Egypt, Ethiopia, Netherlands, Nigeria, Turkey
