ABOUT ME

I really love making people laugh and chatting about everything. I am very curious about other parts of the world and love sharing stories as well as experiences with people I meet. Apart from that, I treasure the feeling of walking away from a great conversation and knowing that I'll never forget it, nor the amazing people that life has presented me.

Me gusta salir de una reunión de amigos, no con el estómago lleno, sino con la inteligencia iluminada por las ideas a ellos oídas, con la voluntad hambrienta de las cualidades que tienen, con la fortaleza robustecida por las hazañas que hicieron. :)

I am a recent History graduate so I could show you around if you'd like. I am passionate about languages so I'll probably ask you a few questions about yours.

As much as I can. I am living with my parents at the moment so I can't host people.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I hosted a number of surfers during my time in London. It was always lovely to meet new people and welcome them into my humble abode. I also surfed in San Sebastiá¡n which was a great experience.

Learning in every possible way! I love music, reading, languages and travel. Nothing gets me more excited than starting off on a new adventure.

Umm... a bit of everything. Gipsy Kings, Guns N' Roses, The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Jimi Hendrix, Manu Chao, Deep Purple, Slash's Snakepit, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Velvet Revolver, Aerosmith, Pink Floyd, Rory Gallagher, Thin Lizzy, Smashing Pumpkins, Dire Staits, AC/DC, Yardbirds, Eric Clapton, The Clash, Oasis, Bob Marley, Rolling Stones, Van Halen, Arctic Monkeys, Black Sabbath, The Who, U2, Simon and Garfunkel, Jeff Beck... I'm into stuff from the 60's, 70's and 80's more than new stuff but I still listen to everything.

Movies: I love world cinema and classics - Catch a fire, City of God, Lebanon, Waltz with Bashir, The Motorcycle Diaries, La Haine, Crash, Full Metal Jacket, Old Boy, Persepolis, Get Carter, Goodfellas, Mar adentro, The Fall, El secreto de sus ojos.

Books: I like literature though I am by no means an expert. I have so much still to read and to learn - Lord of the Rings, Blindness, Catch 22, the Count of Monte Cristo, The Name of the Rose, Burmese Days, La muerte de Artemio Cruz, The Master and Margarita, Life of Pi, Breakfast of Champions, Angela's Ashes, Dracula, Things Fall Apart, Cien años de Soledad.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I jumped of the bridge at Victoria Falls and survived. The guy who rescued me swore that everybody does but I'm not so sure... maybe it was the rope tied around my legs. :)
