I strive to bring a sense of adventure to everything that I do. New worlds lie in wait in the mist beyond the everyday. Finding new ways to relate to people and places outside what capitalism and the economy dictate is very important to me. The task is ceaseless. Decolonizing myself is my main goal.

PHILOSOPHY

My personal philosophy is to seek authenticity and impeccability. Everyday is a revolution within my soul. I seek to maintain positive intent and love in every aspect of life.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

So far I participate is couch-surfing by traveling. I just graduated college and am in a transient period of life. I plan to host in the future.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My couch surfing experience has been great. I stay on the half inflated air mattress in the house of a Nebraska preacher. He talked our ear off about all things godly. We listened. Hearing things that you are not used to talking about in your group of friends is quite a wonderful experience. One that I thoroughly enjoyed. Apart for his preaching he also had some very, shall we say, interesting theories. Among the many was a gem of seemingly utter fabrication. He was trying to tell us that our countries leaders are really lizards plotting the return of the dinosaurs. Don't ask me where he got it. Maybe he is right. The whole ordeal was a hoot and the next day he fed us continental breakfast. Hotel style......

兴趣

I play the guitar. I love Doctor Who. What else is there really? Actually there is a lot. To return the topic of adventure, well, on of my interests is adventure. New places and the unfamiliar. The way that a roof top can turn into a mystic land at sunset complete with people dancing, singing and being with the world never ceases to amaze me. I am interested in living without dead time and savoring the moment. Oh yeah and Magick.

For movies I most certainly have to got with anything that Hayao Miyazaki has ever directed. Not a one has been a disappointment. Books would include anything that China Mevielle has ever written along with Philip K Dick, Auldos Huxley and Murakami. I also enjoy reading crimethinc, anarchist philosophy and Jensen. I like all types of music these days. Right now I am really into a band called Heathers.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I have seen the dancing drums of lost culture spinning in the street out side a gelato shop in Chile. I have climbed the mountains of my home to silently scream in ecstasy on their peaks. I have seen the light in the eyes of the students in a colorado high school. Every moment in miraculous and amazing. When nothing is lacking everything is possible.

James Joyce once wrote that there in no such thing as a boring person. Coming from this point of view everyone is a student while simultaneously being a teacher. The gifts of humanity are to be found in abundance and play. I will learn from you what ever you have to teach. I will offer something in return.
