About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Trying to learn more about life and myself, meeting great people and simply enjoy living :)

ABOUT ME

I'm a positive and dynamic person and I get a lot of my energy from interacting with interesting people. I talk quite a lot, I am open and outspoken...I love being in new places that are very different from the ones I'm used to, and I often start up conversations with people from other countries or with strangers on the subway :).
I like languages, acting, dancing, food, the sea, endless talks about everything and nothing ...(this is the short list :D).

PHILOSOPHY

It feels wonderful to be alive! I'm here to enjoy life while trying to understand myself and the world around me.

Music, Movies, and Books

First of all, Milan Kundera; I loved all of his books, which are written in a fluent, rather easy to read manner, yet conveying very subtle and deep messages. "Steppenwolf" by Hermann Hesse is one of the books that had a strong impact on me. I like Dostoyevsky as well.

I'm also interested in poetry and children's literature; I read several awesome novels "for children" (The little prince by Antoine de Saint-Exupery; Momo and The neverending story by Michael Ende, etc.).

Movies : Big fish, The Libertine,Time of the gypsies, The fall, Forrest Gump, Star Wars... I like most of Nae Caranfil's (Romanian director) movies, I love Kusturica and Woody Allen. Seinfeld and The office (US) are my favourite comedy shows.

Music : Nouvelle Vague, Leonard Cohen, Cesaria Evora, Manu Chao, Bob Dylan, Pink Floyd, Oasis, Norah Jones, Jacques Brel, etc.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Volunteering in Ireland in a summer camp for children with serious illnesses.
Being an Erasmus student in France.
Living in Athens for a few months. I love that city and the Greek way of living!

Teach, Learn, Share

I can share my passion for foreign languages, teach you some Romanian or French, cook something traditional or one of the dishes I invented - they're actually good, don't worry...too much :)). Or simply show you around Bucharest and then stop for a beer (or two?) to talk about everything and nothing.

...And I'm open to learn almost anything !

Countries I’ve Visited
