Overview
About Me
I'm a curious and open-minded traveler with a deep passion for exploring the world, both physically and intellectually. My interests span a wide range of subjects, from politics, philosophy, psychology, and anthropology to geography, history, and linguistics. I also have a fascination with quantum physics and astrophysics, particularly the ways they intersect with philosophical ideas about reality. In my free time, I enjoy cycling, hiking, or trekking occasionally, as well as diving into, podcasts, books, TV shows, and movies. Traveling has been a core part of my life since my college years, and I’ve been fortunate enough to visit around 30 countries so far. What I enjoy most about Couchsurfing is the opportunity to meet new people, exchange ideas, and gain fresh perspectives on the topics I’m passionate about. I especially love learning about cultures I’m less familiar with and engaging in meaningful discussions about life, society, and the world around us.
Furthermore, while I value and welcome the diversity of people I meet through Couchsurfing, I want to kindly clarify that I am straight. Although I am open to hosting people from all backgrounds, including members of the LGBT community, I would like to set clear expectations that my hosting intentions are entirely platonic. Couchsurfing, for me, is about cultural exchange, meaningful conversations, and shared experiences, and I ask for mutual respect in this regard.
I truly enjoy meeting new people through Couchsurfing, but I kindly ask anyone sending a request to take a moment to read my profile first to ensure there’s some compatibility in our interests and lifestyles. While we don’t need to have the exact same interests, there should be some overlap or shared enthusiasm for meaningful conversations and cultural exchanges. I’m more introverted by nature—I enjoy smaller social settings and thoughtful discussions over big crowds or nightlife, which I only attend on rare occasions. I don’t follow much of pop culture and tend to gravitate towards intellectual and cultural topics. Couchsurfing, for me, is about building genuine connections and sharing experiences, not just offering a free place to stay. I believe mutual respect and shared interests are key to making the experience enjoyable for both sides. Thank you for understanding, and I look forward to meaningful exchanges with like-minded travelers!
