ABOUT ME

My personality and life don't add up to a list of character traits or dates. I didn't become a famous artist despite my childhood dreams :D Instead, I thought that helping patients would give a meaning to my life. And it did. Being blessed with some brains, responsibility and compassion, I'm happy where I stand. But my periodic lack of initiative and my head being in the clouds definitely don't bring the Nobel prize any closer to me :D While not supporting any particular political or religious views, I do accept some views of "lipstick feminism".

Music, Movies, and Books

When it comes to music, I'm the least fastidious person, being a keen listener of anything that sounds melodic enough to provide a background to my thoughts. Still, guitar music has always been my favourite. I visit cinemas randomly and I must admit that I rarely hit the movies that suit my taste. But the problem lies in the movie industry, I presume. I prefer reading in Russian, as this language is just rich enough to successfully mediate the most intangible qualities of the original text to the reader.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have seen women giving birth to babies. Witnessing the beginning of a new life is the only truly amazing thing that I've experienced.
