About Me

CURRENT MISSION

live, love and learn more recipes! travel and see the world through other peoples eyes.

ABOUT ME

Student and lover of life, the outdoors, and all things wonderous and mysterious. I have a desire to travel and see new terrain from a locals perspective. I want to see what others don't take the time to see, to go where others have not thought to go. Always open to new ideas, new people, new food, and new experiences.

PHILOSOPHY

Life is an adventure, and the only way to find meaning is to go out and explore it. Look for coincidence, serendipity, the connections that find us in the right place at the right time. I believe we all have something that we can learn from another as much as every one of us has something to share. We are all have the opportunity to teach as much as we can learn.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am very hands on, i love to cook, get my hands dirty, be involved in projects, to improve my surroundings, to be proud of a days works and enjoy my accomplishments.

PLEASE: give me as much advance notice as possible to arrange a stay, i work full time and am busy with life. I sometimes don't get the chance to check this site for a few days. If you message me to stay the next night, you might miss me!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have long been a self described couch surfer, its exciting to see such a well established website for helping others connect this way. Most of the couch surfing that I did was for a short period after arriving in a new place, with the hosts offering me a place more often for longer periods. I always got my own apartment soon after, but established some of my most memorable friendships this way.

Interests

I am fascinated with lost, apocryphal, and esoteric knowledge. A self proclaimed taoist, i travel through life, seeking the middle path. Alchemy, Rosicrucianism, Astrology, Kabbalah, Metaphysics, Alice in Wonderland, Tarot, Reiki, I Ching, learning the mysteries of the universe, law of attraction, what makes people tick, making new friends, seeing new sites, traveling to new places.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have been very fortunate to be an exchange student to japan my junior year of highschool. I spent a year in Fukushima, my home away from home, a place that will always hold a piece of my heart. I am a hot springs enthusiast, exploring the American West for more soaking pools, the more remote the better! If you want to take a dip, relax, be one with nature far from the reach of mankind, i have afew spots i could share with you!

Teach, Learn, Share

:0 I love it! I couldn't have said it better! Every new friend, new aquaintance offers a unique individual perspective we each could learn from! I am a student of life, and have found that i often learn the most when i teach others. I have been trained and certified as a Reiki Master, yet feel there is always so much left to learn, I dont call myself a master. Always interested to share my experiences, my observations, my knowledge, in hopes of learning something new in return. Learning is a life long process!
