Get rid of my shyness, learn Dutch to perfection, visit new places, meet new people

ABOUT ME

Don't be confused when you see an American city as my lost logged in place, I regularly use an American proxy! I'm in Europe, never been to the US so far :)

Describe myself... How easy... Well, I'm 27 years old, male and from Austria. I speak German, English and Dutch (I'm still learning it though and love it!).

Besides my computer hobbies and language learning I'm a casual Geocacher (my "hot phase" has passed, but it's still fun) and love to use Geocaching to find new great places in known and unknown cities. Maybe someone will join me on my "one cache per city" :)

If we meet and I seem reserved or cold please give me some time to open up. It's not that easy for me to open up to strangers and I'm currently working on that (yes, joining Couchsurfing is part of this work in progress).

I don't have something that could be called a philosophy. I change my interests and hobbies every now and then and love it that way.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Surfing abroad and meeting travelers at home, unfortunately I can't host since I life quite remote and my house is generally a mess :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My first year of CS is nearly over and so far it was just great. Meet some great travellers in Graz, had a spectacular trip through the Netherlands and Belgium this Summer, attended some meetings in Austria and the Netherlands and got to know many great people

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

I'm not a big movie fan, I like TV shows so much more. Good TV shows are like a 100hour long movie, that's just great.

My music taste is another question I can hardly answer. I like all different kinds of music. Reggae, Alternative Rock, Singer&Songwriter, Hip Hop and so on and so on.

Books, I love them when I'm on holidays but I just don't pick them up once I'm home :( Anyway, Douglas Adams is my alltime favourite, right now I concentrate on Dutch books

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

It might sound boring but it was the best holiday of my life: Driving together with my girlfriend in my 25year old Fiat Uno 2000km to Sicily while nearly booth dying a sweat death because of the lack of anything remotely related to a/c. But it was worth it!

I would love to teach you some German and can teach you basic "computerstuff" if you want that
