ABOUT ME

Retired military, 4 children, 8 grandchildren. have lived and traveled in Europe the Far East. Our most memorable experiences of traveling is meeting and living among the people. This makes the country come alive.

Love hosting people from all over the world. A great way to get to know different cultures. Love all the experiences we have shared with our guests.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Just finished a wonderful experience surfing in Fribourg, Switzerland,, Milano and Florence, Italy (Jun 2103). What great people and wonderful memories we have. We have also surfed in Korea, Japan, Czech Republic, Austria, and many places in he US. All hosts were wonderful and we really enjoyed the experience. We have hosted in our home in Alabama and have had nothing but positive experiences. We love those who have hosted us and those we have been host to.

most genre. really like the beatles my wife loves classical. Just recently started reading John Grisham and am hooked.

Una cosa incredibile che ho fatto

spent 4 months travelin in a VW camper in Europe with my Elaine just after we were married; traveled 3 months throughout Asia with my daughter in Spring of 2009. She married the Spring of 2010. We traveled on military aircraft space available and I figured we flew about 30,000 air miles free. Not many have the experience of traveling with their daughter on such an adventure.

Learn from all people who have a wide variety of experiences, and they do not have to be travel related. Anyone who will be tolerant of others experiences and beliefs and still feel comfortable expressing their own.
