Overview
About Me
PLEASE READ BEFORE REQUESTING.
QUICK NOTE: Lately I have been getting a lot of requests weeks or months in advance, Homeless and people traveling for work and not pleasure. There are a few things that force me to decline or say maybe.
1) If its more than a week away I probably don't know if I will be in town or not and I most likely will temporarily decline so it's better just to send me a message and we can keep in contact till the date gets closer then confirm.
2) If its during the week most the time my roommate and I are working and I rarely host Monday-Friday unless you were already here the weekend leading into the week.
3) If you are using Couchsurfing as a place to live, housing during a work trip, or crash because you are too drunk to drive home I will most likely decline. This is not a sober living home, temp housing or a business hotel.
I take my ideals of what the couchsurfing community should be very seriously and Protect it as much as I can. These are just my personal opinions and ideas and I don't expect everyone to support them.
I am here to support the world citizen and expand my love for humanity one Couchsurfer at a time and if that saves the surfer money and extends their travel that is just a bonus.
With that out of the way.... I look forward to meeting you.
!!!!ENJOY, AND WELCOME TO HUNTINGTON BEACH!!!!
CURRENT MISSION
experience new cultures, and meet as many amazing people as I can
ABOUT ME
Hey Surfers, My name is Devin. I was born and raised in Sunny California, I've been blessed with many fun travels and have seen the good, bad, and the ugly. I've always been known as the "Yes" man when it comes to anything fun. (Minus Drugs). I will never turn down a good adrenaline rush or a friendly challenge.
I share my townhouse with a very cool girl in her mid 20's who fits right in with couchsurfing. I am yet to meet anybody that doesn't love every second with her.
anything else you want to know just ask.
PHILOSOPHY
Pay It Forward and treat others how you want to be treated. That's it in a nut shell. I figure you start with that and things will fall in place. Things can always be worse. always practice aloha.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I Have been using CS for a handful of years now and have been graciously hosted and taken care of anywhere I have been. I now have no problem paying it forward and supporting such an awesome cause and meeting some amazing people along the way. I thrive to become a diverse open minded person. I don't go to many events while I'm home but I am glad to help anybody out.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
How can I even put this down in writing? I loooove CS. I have never met such an awesome family community and have had nothing but magical experiences. The stories and experiences I have come away with are priceless and will be told for generations I hope.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I have seen many many things in my travels but the few that stand out come from the local gritty spots that the normal travelers walk right by. I take my travels like an investigation and tackle it with everything I have.
From the disgusting Human Trafficking in the Slums of Italy to the gorgeous waterfalls that bring meaning to life in Havasupie AZ. The middle of the ocean will always bring me back to ground level and humble even the strongest human.
Teach, Learn, Share
From what I have picked up, I notice there are a lot of rookie couchsurfers out there that dont know the ideal resources to travel cheap or free even. most people I have met want to be here for a few months and leave in the first month because they are out of money. If I were to teach/share oe thing it would be how to travel cheap, starting with yours truely.... CouchSurfing. Learn it love it live it.
What I Can Share with Hosts
My knowledge of what I have learned while hosting and traveling. I can introduce them to the local spots in southern California.
