About Me

Now that I'm about to turn 30 later this year, I've grown up since I first "couchsurfed" in South America when I was a student back in 2017.
It's interesting to look back at what the youngest me wrote here to describe herself, and see how some parts of my character have changed since then, and others haven't!

As for my character and personality, I'd say that I'm still the same outgoing, open-minded and dynamic woman who leads an active and healthy lifestyle.
Over the years, my authentic nature has probably prevailed, as I now see myself as a social introvert who enjoys meeting new people and making new friends but who also values deeply her personal space, time and energy. I guess that's what maturity looks like. ;-)

If we meet , you will find me to be reliable, trustworthy, friendly, honest, helpful, easy to be around and to talk to, and somehow a bit curious about everything !

One more thing, I'm keen on doing all kinds of sports or outdoor activity in my spare time. This could be either running / trail running, cycling, swimming, dancing (I started latin dances 2 years ago and love it - salsa and bachata), racquet sports, or doing some yoga,Pilates..
Basically, if you want to team up for any sporting challenge or outdoor adventure, I'm your mate !

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm always curious to learn more about cultures and people's lifestyles in general. I believe that everyone is unique and has something to teach and to learn from others. I'm easily interested in as many topics as possible and I love spontaneous chats.

I think the possibility and great facility we have nowadays to travel the world is not only a great opportunity to meet new people, but also to share our own experiences, customs, knowledge, beliefs... all of this with the only good will and kindness of the people, who host and those who are hosted, which is just amazing !

I actually have never hosted so far (but would love to do it), but I have been hosted a few times and it’s always been down-to-earth and enriching experiences.

For now, I'm a new WHV holder and backpacker in Australia and will be arriving in Melbourne on the 20th of February to start this amazing journey that awaits me ! I'm looking forward to making the most of my time Down Under and experiencing the true Australian way of life, with the locals and their warm hospitality. I can’t wait to meet like-minded individuals.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like a lot of different styles of music, like pop, rock, latino, electro, some rap songs as well, but I'm not a big fan of metal or techno.

As for films, I'm one of those people who can't manage to make up my mind.. but I usually like action and thriller films, as well as comedy.

My favourite books to read are detective novels, but I also enjoy the occasional self-help book. One thing is for sure, if I like a book I'm reading, I can devour it in a couple of days !

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

With almost 30 years living, I’ve lived several amazing experience, which I’ll remember all my life I guess.
To name a few : sleeping under the stars on a desert beach in Djibouti, fishing piranhas in the Amazon rainforest, skydiving in Mexico in front of the Popocatepètl volcano, snorkeling with whale sharks in the Caribbean Sea, completing the toughest hike of Europe the GR20 in 10,5 days, flying over the love valley in a hot air balloon at sunrise in Capadoccia…
And I hope many more to come :-)

What I Can Share with Hosts

• My friendly personality, good mood and optimism or « ma joie de vivre » as we say in French !
• I’d be happy to share everything that I've learned from my travels, studies and my first years of professional experience.
• Good memories and bad lucks, funny stories and anecdotes.
• some good french food recipes
• my passion and motivation for sport and dance
