About Me
CURRENT MISSION
I moved to St Helens in January 2012, so my current mission is to settle into the new area and discover all the awesome sights in my kayak or on my bike!!!! Bring it on...
ABOUT ME
Since coming to Tasmania I have studied Tourism Management, Eco/Adventure Guiding and Marketing - also created the Hobart Beerfest with 3 colleagues in 2006 as our major project in the Tourism Management course.I worked as a tour guide at Australia's oldest brewery for 5 years (2006-2010) and in 2011 worked at a backpacker hostel in Hobart. My real passion is sea kayaking and one of the main reasons of moving from NSW to Tasmania was to take in the awesome paddling it offers. Over the 8 years of living in Tasmania, I have pretty much paddled the whole East Coast of Tasmania from Cockle Creek in the South up to Musselroe Bay in the North. Also made a circumnavigation of Bruny Island and a few trips around Maria Island. So much to see and do and my move to St Helelns in 2012 is to settle in an area with more paddling adventures on my doorstep.I love the Tassie outdoors, but also enjoy a beer and some tunes at the end of a great day out...
PHILOSOPHY
Yesterday is history, tomorrow's a mystery and today is a gift - that's why we call it present...
