ABOUT ME
I am currently training to be a primary/elementary school teacher. I am very easy going and am just as happy having a quiet night in chatting as I am having a loud night out on the town! I am always up for a laugh and am happy to sing for my supper!
PHILOSOPHY
Treat others as you would like to be treated.
Try as often as you can to do something that scares you
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I couchsurfed for a couple of weeks round parts of Europe almost four years ago in 2010. I hosted a few people at my home in Kilkenny also but I've been fairly quiet the last few years. I've been busy with college and have not been able to host or surf properly since but I'm hoping to do more of both again this summer. All the experiences I have had have been brilliant and I've met so many wonderful people many of whom I'm still friends with. Hope to make some new friends this summer!
Interests
I love Music! I love Movies! I love Books! I consume, analyze and regurgitate popular culture at alarming levels. I do also enjoy the fresh air and the outdoors when not occupying alternative worlds! I enjoy writing and performing music and I have busked in Canada, America and around Europe on previous trips.

Music, Movies, and Books
Films - The Big Lebowski and Coen Brothers films in general. Hidden, Dead Mans Shoes, Let The Right One In, The Rules Of Attraction to name a few.
Music - Radiohead and Animal collective are the best contemporary bands I can think of
Books - Currently I am reading a lot of Kurt Vonnegut's work and Haruki Murakami
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I drove across ten states of America from Vancouver to Toronto (gas cheaper in the states and roads better) non stop with a guy I met on ride share. We did it in just under 55 hours, barely slept, listened to lots of good music (Discovered Pink Floyd, Re-discovered Pearl Jam, Grew to dislike AC/DC) and I got pulled over once for driving too slow but was let off with just a warning which was fine considering I didn't have a licence! It was a great experience and I have fond memories of it. Both of us listening and singing along to every bond song while driving through the beautiful green hills of Montana at dusk is one that comes to mind
