I love the outdoors, bicycling, kayaking, swimming, exploring new places, and meeting new people. I'm a hydrologist at USDA, working on temperature effects of deforestation in the tropics. I'm currently locationally challenged – home is Sebastopol, CA, my job is in DC (remote for now), and my belongings exist in a storage unit in DC. Also dreaming of funemployment – I'd like to go on an extended bicycle trip and catalogue all of the swim spots I find along the way (lakes, ocean, pools, masters swim teams). Sometimes I worry that 90% percent of my personality is open water swimming...
