About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Find my way in the uncharted breadth of the District
ABOUT ME
There are so many things to say from so many different angles! Let's say, though, that I am the following things: conscientious & kind, nerdy but sociable, talkative but a good listener. One of my favorite things is to meet new people, and this is the way to do it.
For the moment, I live in the District of Columbia, but it's significantly more difficult to find anything resembling stability here than I thought it would be. Until I find someplace permanent to live, I'll be a surfer when I need to be. After that, I'll strive to restore balance to the community and open my couch to the world.
PHILOSOPHY
There is no such thing as a good person, but we all strive to be the best person we can be; relatively speaking, we have our vices and our virtues, and we all balance each other out. In the mean time, do what you can to balance the world towards the light.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I was awestruck when I walked into the eighth floor of the US State Department. It is a grand and wonderful space that one would never imagine just looking at the building.
Seeing a four-star general in full dress uniform dancing to Miley Cyrus. His medals jangled.
Teach, Learn, Share
I went to school in Canada. I may not know everything about it, but if you're ever interested in the politics of the country or how its culture is different from that of the US, I'm your man!
As a student studying for a master's degree in city and regional planning, I can talk your ear off about cities and help you digest why your city is doing what it's doing.
Also, I'm a total beer snob, so if you've ever wanted to know how to really taste a beer, or find a good one, then I'm your man.
