ABOUT ME

i'm a happy go lucky kind of guy. I am usually in the best of spirits and it is really hard to bring me down. i'm a new skydiver and am working on becoming certified at this very moment.i love to read the only problem i have is there is not enough time to read all the wonderful stories in the world. i was born in portland, oregon. but i moved to the emerald city to get away from that one horse town. lets BBQ drink some beers and have a great time this weekend!

PHILOSOPHY

my philosophy is to bring as much happiness to all those around me, sharing is the best method for bring people together in happiness. that and read a good book!!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

just got a new spot and i am ready to host again! been renting a room for a year and i really missed hosting. now i am going to give back to the community!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

for my first experience, i surfed with my girlfriend with mike in everett. i had a wonderful time with him and his friend kathy. i have also couchsurfed in B.C. and hosted a few people (Robert and his friend came up from Atlanta and i had Luca visit me from Italy!). i have attended many gatherings in seattle and everett and can't wait to surf and host more! now i have done some more, went tango dancing in sevilla spain. stayed three nights with david and pape in madrid. made great friends with marc and laia in barcelona and watched bats fly over the sunset in palma de mallorca. now it is time to host untill i go to belize in november!

i just started the sport of skydiving so that is taking a lot of my time right now. i like to go hiking and camping, just spent some time in montana and i got to hike in glacier national forest. i really enjoy cooking, baking especially. love books, need a book? i will send you on your travels with a new story to occupy your bus/train/plane boredom.

i dont go to the movies very much, it has almost been 6 months since going to a theatre. i love music, but im only good at listening to it. my music collection is very ecclectic i have a lot of everything. people have told me that i was born in the wrong era because i mostly listen to rock and roll. the music these days doesnt have what the older stuff had. my favorites are johnny cash (i saw him in concert when i was 8), bob dylan, neil young, led zeppelin, michael jackson, just to name a few. books books books. if you ever come to my house you will most likely leave with a new book, i dont lend them i give them. i started a couchsurfing book project where i send my guests with a new book if they promise to pass it to a new surfer when they're finished.

my house caught on fire when i was a sophomore in high school and i put it out with my brothers with a bucket brigade. there was a hole in our roof about 10 feet in diameter. that was scary

i can teach you how to juggle, solve a rubik's cube,oops not really! bake a pie, BBQ, make a stained glass window or play poker. i want to learn how to speak spanish better, how to play a musical instrument and how miniature ships get inside those bottles.
