ABOUT ME

I am a 21 year aspiring musician and video game enthusiast with a profound interest in music, preferably ambient/post rock/delay laden stuff. I live with my girlfriend at an old US Naval base in Keflavík and I attend school in Reykjavík.
I can probably own you at Halo and Street Fighter 4 as well.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I would love to host people and also love to show them around the southern part of the country, since that is the part of the country I love most by heart. I also work at a rental car agency and can probably get you a sweet deal if you want to explore on your own. :)

Our house is literally 5 minutes from the Airport, so we are a pretty good place to stay at the night before/after leaving/coming.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We have hosted one guy on his own and three groups, was awesome all four times!

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite movies are the Studio Ghibli movies, my favorite one being Princess Mononoke. I also love Jaws and Jurassic Park, as well as Gladiator, Pulp Fiction and Platoon.

My favorite bands are: HORSE the band, Sky Eats Airplane, Godspeed You! Black Emperor, Kim Tak Building, MONO, Amon Amarth, The Megas, Mastodon and Slayer.

My favorite books are probably some nerdy Manga stuff nobody has interest in.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Two things, one, when I was 15 years old my favorite band at the time(Amon Amarth) was playing a small club show and we(my cousin and I) just kind of bumped into them in the halls of the club, and I asked them if they could play my favorite song for me, a song that I knew wasn't a regular part of their set. And they totally played it for me!

The other thing was when I captained our high school's debate team to the national finals, we lost, by a hair, but the whole thing was an awesome experience.

I can teach you the basics of picking up the Drums, I can also teach you how to master the Shotokan characters from Street Fighter.
