I suppose I live simply for the pursuit of happiness, I'm not too complicated. How I achieve that happiness tends to change with life, I just go with it the best I can.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm here to meet new people, learn, and share. I like having a lively home with different people. If you want to stay with me here is what you do: read my profile, see if I seem like the kind of host you'd want to stay with, then drop me a message telling me why. If you send me a generic copy /paste request, its gonna be pitched into the garbage real quick. No fakers allowed!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have been on CS for years now, though I havent always been very active. I've used couchsurfing for meeting fellow travelers abroad as well as some hosting. I've been hosted by some cool peeps as well, and really had a blast.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music, music, music... It's my passion. I can't leave the house without having something to listen to. Metal, Reggae, Punk, Classical, Jazz, Funk, Hip Hop, Hardcore, Salsa, Electronic, Ambient, Irish, Instrumental, Rock n Roll, Folk..... the list goes on and on! I appreciate most music, even if I don't like it.

With books I mostly read fiction because I like losing myself in a story, but I will do some non-fiction too :)
A few authors that stick out are Vladmir Nabokov, Irvine Welsh, Tom Wolfe, Timothy Zahn, Hunter Thompson, George Orwell, Dostoyovsky, Aldous Huxley....to name a few, but with the books in my collection always coming and going over the years I know I'm forgetting plenty

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Looked out on the Atlantic Ocean from atop a hill in my hometown, St. John's, the most eastern point in North America, and felt like I was on The Edge Of The World. Kinda surreal, and it never gets old

I was Born. There was alot of other sperm going for that egg. I beat em all to it.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach, Learn and Share... When they ask me to fill this section out they say that: 'You have special knowledge that others will benefit from knowing'. Well maybe I do, maybe I don't, I think it's just an opinion. I can appreciate a good exchange between people as much as the next person, but it seems like CS wants me to write something meaningful and inspirational here....too much pressure, I aint doing it!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm an English language teacher, so I can give you English lessons! I can also cook, clean...the list goes on. But mainly I can be of good company to you. I'm laid back, easy going, and down for most anything. I'm a pretty open-minded dude who is willing to try out new things, whether they are safe or otherwise!
