ABOUT ME
All about me?? Wow...
Well, I'm a country boy, from a very small town, who one day he decided go into some of the great cities of the world starting in Buenos Aires in 2002. Since then, I have traveled to various places, trying to spend long periods in each new place. Probably because of my background, I often try to flee the city until very lonely places, where usually I met the most amazing people (including city people passing by!).
Honestly, little more I can say without blushing ... I think it's easier to simply know each other!
PHILOSOPHY
'Run, run rabbit run. Dig that hole, forget the sun, And when at last the work is done. Don't sit down it's time to dig another one"...
Or something like that! Ja!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
This is my first time using the "official" couchsurfing net.
But I have used the concept of couchsurfing at least the last ten years, trying to contact friends in all the places where I go or asking to friends for contacts of familiar people or other friends to know much better the places where I go. On the other hand, my appartment always has been opened to all kind of friend or people that I didn't know until they came recomended for a direct friend. I think that I participated in "couchsurfing" without being member of couchsurfing until now.

Music, Movies, and Books
If I start to talk about movies it will be difficult to stop then..So, Music: Destroyer, Twin Shadow or Ariel Pink's Haunted Grafitti, last months. From this year, Kurt Vile. And I'm waiting for Vetiver, Bon Iver and Panda Bear's new albums. I don't know, Beach House? Radiohead? Or maybe more snob: Arvo Part? Michel Legrand? Thelonius Monk? I'd really like to share music with people...
I liked the last book I read travelling: Los detectives Salvajes, by Roberto Bolaño. Some years ago, I travelled with Borges, also Poe and the beat generation. In the Amazonas I used to read Plato's dialogues listening Miles Davis.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
To stay during 4 days in the middle of the Uyuni's salt desert with two great friends and nothing more, after a trip around Bolivia and before going to the Amazonas.
Find a friend casually three times in different years in different parts of the world.
Sunsets in Restaurante Los Tíos, Puerto Escondido.
Last concert of Arcade Fire.
Messi playing soccer!
Gerry, by Gus Van Sant.
The Pacific Highway in Big Sur.
A man, too tired, coming down from the Aconcagua.
The Boston Atheneum.
To be alone in front of a glacier and feel the silence.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach some things about photography or cinematography. Not so much.. Maybe we can share music and some appreciations about philosophy or local political situations. I can teach how to cook a great tortilla de patatas!
