ABOUT ME

The people who know me really well would say I'm a very relaxed person who likes to see everything from a positive side and makes a lot of jokes, but can also be serious when it needs to. They would say I'm a creative person with lots of imagination (sometimes a bit too much perhaps). I'm open minded, sensitive and have a strong feeling for justice. I try to take care for the people that are closest to me and to be friends with everybody as long as they respect me for who I am. I never judge people, the most important thing is that they are themselves and feel good about that. I can be a bit shy at first and/or in large groups, but that's until you get to know me...

PHILOSOPHY

The most important thing is that you are happy and make as much other living creatures happy as you can during your stay here on earth. It doesn't matter how you achieve that goal. It's different for everybody.

I'm planning to go on couchsurfing adventures with my girlfriend! Yaaarrr (we're not pirates though, no idea why we're doing that)!

Interests

I've studied communication sciences and would like to work as a creative in media after I graduate. At the moment I'm following a speed course in making television. I love watching movies and series, playing games, and listening to music. I enjoy playing the piano and guitar, but let's just say I'm definitely not a professional yet. I like dancing as well as having a nice chat with a beer when going out. I wanna be one of those people who can dance like nobody's watching but I'm not quite there yet. ;)

I consider myself a writer and take every opportunity to improve my writing experience. At the moment I have written for a local student publication, a youth press agency, a movie website and radioprogram and some websites about gaming. I wanna write about music too somewhere in the future. I've also been working on a book for a very long time. It's my dream to finish it once. I can be very moved by nature and discovering amazing places I have never been before. I'm also intrigued by people who have a completely different culture than mine and would like to know everything about it. So it's pretty obvious I like to travel, and I want to do it a lot more than I used to. So that's where my presence on this website comes in!

Music, Movies, and Books

I watch a lot of movies and listen to music several hours a day. I unfortunately don't have as much time to read as I used to. This is just a very small impression of what I like:

Movies: Moonrise Kingdom, Into the Wild, Mr. Nobody, Inception, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Sucker Punch, 300, Sin City,...

Series: True Blood, Doctor Who, Californication, Game of Thrones, The Big Bang Theory, Breaking Bad, Friends, That 70s Show,...

Music: There's almost no music genre that doesn't have any songs I like, and I have gone through a lot of phases. At the moment I'm a huge fan of Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeroes and all kinds of psychedelic rock and alternative music.

Books: The Perks of Being a Wallflower, Harry Potter, Angels & Demons, Watchmen,...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In Spain, we walked in a nature park for a whole day, and when the sun decided to come down, we decided to return. But suddenly we saw hundreds of birds gathering above us, and more just kept coming. So we went to a watchpoint and witnessed a very beautiful landscape that consisted of a sunset, a pond, a wide open area and many, many birds. I could have stayed there forever.
