About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Lots and lots of frolicking.

ABOUT ME

I just moved back to the States after being abroad for the past year and a half. I'm beginning the process of adjusting to life a mile high...always an adventure!

Like many, my obsession with chocolate has gotten me into trouble. Just recently kicked out of a fancy brunch place b/c my piece of chocolate cake was too large.

I never empty my pockets so that I'll have presents waiting for next time.

I really want to learn another instrument. I'm thinking the fiddle (as opposed to the violin :p) so that I can take it with me wherever I go.

The only plant that I've been able to keep alive myself was a cactus left and forgotten in my old apartment.

Training for a half marathon!

PHILOSOPHY

We've been given the gift of life, and in no way should we take a single moment of it for granted. Each day is an adventure, best encountered with a smile.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Meeting people through local networks has been a huge plus. We are a bunch of characters to say the least. When I have an apartment in a more centrally-located area, I plan to start hosting as much as people are willing to come!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Everyone on here seems to be so willing to share and be open with fellow CSers. It's been uplifting to say the least. :)

Interests

Where to begin? Reading to expose myself to what life hasn't given me yet in person, cooking is always an adventure haha!, hiking is always moving higher up the list, partying, wiiiiiine, meeting new and interesting individuals, and of course, traveling whenever time and funds allow.

Also, and in no special order:
road biking
sailing
getting lost
exploring maybe these two are almost the same :)
anything baked and sweet
airports :) :)
beach plopping
art museums
coffee shops
outdoor markets
running

and so much more...

Music, Movies, and Books

Any movie that offers a new perspective is one that I want to see. Foreign films and independents seem to be the best bet for me. As for books, being an English major, I'm a sucker for the classics, but a cheap paperback can sometimes be true love. Music in any form I love--electronic(!!!), techno, classical (I blame my father for this), acoustic folk, oldies, rocknroll, blues, crooners...everything has its place.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

This is an impossible question! Continuous exposure to the unknown is an amazing thing in and of itself. I suppose that would have to be my answer. :)

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Canada, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Laos, Malaysia, Mexico, Netherlands, Spain, Thailand, Turkey, Viet Nam

Countries I’ve Lived In
