ABOUT ME

I've been around, sometimes sleeping on couches. Right now I'm in Kaohsiung, and it's one of the best places I've lived.

If you're planning on traveling Taiwan, here are a few oprtions:
If you have the time, Rent a motorbike or two- Drive it around the island, take both cross island highways through the mountains. It's a great loop, you wont regret it.

Go to Ching-Jing in Nantou county. Continue up to the peak of the mountain, this might be my favorite place, the landscape is surreal.

Find some natural hotsprings in Taitung county. This is the only area ive been able to find where they havnt yet tapped the water and pumped it up to a hotel or hot tubs. There are a couple I've found at the edges of rivers, though i cant recall where exactly.
Other than Taitung, you can find nice hotspring pools all over the island; Yilan and Tainan county are great; and Beitou up in Taipei is a nice place if you dont want to go too far.
