Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
to live a life where i'm always missing some people and some places
ABOUT ME
I'm a little bit of a homebody but I love exploring. To deal with this I've realized I generally try to make wherever I am into a home.
PHILOSOPHY
People from a planet without flowers would think we must be mad with joy the whole time to have such things about us.
-Iris Murdoch
Know all the questions, not all the answers,
Look for the different, instead of the same.
Never walk when there's room for running,
Don't do anything that can't be a game.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I will be studying in London in spring, 2009, and I would love to meet people for coffee or drinks while I'm there, and go couchsurfing in my time off. After that I will be living in Seattle for the summer and I could host other couchsurfers who are visiting the area.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
None yet! I did go wwoofing last summer - it was amazing and I worked ridiculously hard, whatever some people think.

Music, Movies, and Books
My favorite movie is Eternal Sunshine. I also really like Stardust and Waitress.
I love music - right now i am listening to Bonnie 'Prince' Billy. I have been listening a lot recently to Okkervil River, Joanna Newsom, and Frida Hyvonen
Some of my favorite books are Autobiography Of A Face, The Unbearable Lightness Of Being, and Mrs. Dalloway. I love lots of poetry - right now I am reading Audre Lorde and Adrienne Rich.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Once my cat was giving birth but she got bored and stopped when the last kitten was still halfway in her. I pulled him out the rest of the way out and wiped him off and then gave him back to her. It was very exciting.
The kitten is grown up now and sometimes he walks into walls and falls off chairs so I think he might have a bit of brain damage. But he's very loyal to me so I'm pretty sure he remembers when I saved - or I suppose, started - his life.
Teach, Learn, Share
I really want to learn how to brew beer and knit and fix bicycles.
I also want to find secret gardens and other hidden places in London
I like making pillows and biscuits, so I could help people do that. I like making interesting salads too.
