Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I’m always up to meet and help out nice people. Couchsurfing to me is about connecting with people and even making friends.

I do have to say that I’ve noticed that some people can take advantage of hospitality, can be unconsidered and sometimes even a little disrespectful.

All I can say about that is: “Don’t.”

You’re ruining it for the real goodhearted couchsurfers out there who do understand the concept.

So please don’t see my place as a hotel or take my hospitality for granted. I prefer to host openminded, relaxed and respectful people, like I am. I’m a busy guy, so if I’m creating time to host you, a few hours to hang out or connect is not a lot to ask in return I think. 😉

So, just to be clear.. please DON'T send me a request when:

- you have only 1 or even no pictures in your profile.
(I'd like to see the person I'm about to welcome in my house)

- you want to send "a copy/paste" request.
(I'd like to see CS is about connecting to you too. So at least address it to me and make it personal)

- you haven't made an effort to write something about yourself on your profile.
(I'd like to have some info about you and include that in my decision making)

Other then that I'm quite looking forward to your request. Even if you don't have any references, I don't care. You've got to start somewhere right? We all had to
