HI :) I was born in Jerusalem. At the age of 3 my family moved to Ashkelon. I grew up in Ashqelon and studied in my highschool years at a nearby kibbutz. Throughout my childhood nature has been an important part of my daily life. In my teen year i lived in Tel Aviv and at the age of 21 i back-packed around India and Europe. In Europe i traveled with a motorhome and made my money by making clothes and jewelry and selling them in festivals throughout Europe. After my traveling i came back to Tel Aviv and opened a nursery in Florentin neighborhood and i was studying permaculture and organic agriculture. I met my girlfriend who is now my fiance in her families bar that was called Goa Florentine. My fiance is also a very nature loving person and grew up in the mountains of south India in a small town called Kodaikanal.
Together we decided to get out of the hectic life of the big city and to purchace a mother-home and to move to an ecological farm in a small kibuttz. We lived there for almost a year in a comunal way of life participating in making a food forest. After this experiance life presented an amazing opertunity to live and work at a fresh water lake in the middle of the dunes of nitzanim wild life reserve, 500 meters from the sea. Our job was to maintain and operate an activity part which included activities such as dune cars, boating and kayaking and RC cars, and big events such as weddings and barmitsvas on the shore of the lake. Currently we are living in a sweet private house with a nice garden in Ashquelon. 15 min walk from the beach and we have an extra bedroom for guests. I am working at the Israeli national park in Ashquelon and my fiance is working as a bartender in one of the high end resteraunts near the beach. We have a sweet dog called Damon True Friendship. He is a 1 year old Australian Shepherd.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We have good friends in their 50's who are always telling us amazing stories of their couch surfing experiance all over the world. Friends they met for life, local life they experiance in many places. We feel that we can share our love for Israeli Nature and culture.
