ABOUT ME

I recently moved back from Spain and set my roots firm in the ground in Asheville, NC. The city is amazingly quirky and I love the entrepreneurial vibe that flows here.

Right now I am working to build my business, ZeroZen Design, so I can get back out there and explore the world. I'm an overachiever and sometimes my own goals for being successful get in the way of what it means to have a personal life. I've been told I'm funny, silly, motivating, friendly and fun. I think I am.

I love meeting other CS'ers that are traveling through the area and am always up for a cup of coffee or some amazing chocolate.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe that we have one opportunity at life and that we should use this time wisely to gain as much as we can through experiences. Books are great and all but a college classroom can not teach you what it feels like to be the only person on a summit of a 18,000 ft mountain. We should travel through life like we travel around the world, taking in every sight, smell, taste and feeling we have. We are subconsciously writing our own book, what does yours read like? Is it a best seller or on the shelf gathering dust? "Ago Vita" (Live Life)

I was very active in Madrid and hosted a number of cool and unique people. Held several parties which were off the hook. I hope to be more active here in Asheville as business becomes a little more organized.

Being that I have a background in police, military and "other" I will say this. The world is more dangerous than it has been in previous days. Be aware of where you are, whose around you and always have a plan for anything. This is especially pertinent to women who are travelling. Be weary of everyone and trust your instinct. Have a plan if something goes wrong and do your best to keep yourself safe. I've met many women who were victims to crimes that could have easily been prevented.

Secondly...break away from being a sheep in the world of sheep, sheep dogs and wolfs. The sheep are the everyday people that are unaware and accept tragedy. Try to become more of a sheep dog, the protector of the sheep. Stand up for each other, don't bow down in times of peril and attempt to prevent tragic events from occuring. Lastly, don't lower yourself to becoming a wolf..who prey on the sheep of the world. If you find you fit more of a wolf like character, change your ways!
