About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Enjoying living in London and trying to save some money!
ABOUT ME
I love great food, and a good party! I enjoy making people feel welcome and comfortable in my home. Cooking and sharing drinks with friends is very important to me and we throw some pretty good parties too!
PHILOSOPHY
This is one of my favourite quotes, it articulates a sentiment I have always admired and tried to aspire to.
"Do not go where the path might lead, go instead where there is no path and leave a trail." Ralph Waldo Emerson
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I have hosted in the past, currently not able to but open to meeting up with people to show them my city.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I organised an event in Banff, Canada, met up with Couchsurfers in Vancouver and have hosted surfers at my house in Nottingham whilst I was at university. Everyone we have hosted so far has been great and we have stayed in contact afterwards. Me and my housemates always tried to show our couchsurfers a great time :)
Interests
I really enjoy photography, especially when I am travelling. I also like going to art galleries, the theatre, many different music events, walks in the country, eating good food, going to good restaurants, and of course having a good party!

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: I have always had a genuine love and appreciation for many types of music. I enjoy all types of music from jazz to hip-hop to soul and world music, I also like many different styles of electronic music such as techno, house, drum and bass, garage etc.
Books: I love reading and always have an endless list of books to read. Its impossible to pick out only a few but a few of the classics that come to mind are Homage to Catalonia by George Orwell, On The Road by Jack Kerouac, Leaving the Atocha Station by Ben Lerner, Manhattan Transfer by John Dos Pasos
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Swimming with pink dolphins in the Amazon river, looking down into the crater of Volcano Telica in Nicaragua at night and watching the lava after a days hiking, being amongst thousands of people protesting on Avenida de mayo in Buenos Aires on día de la memoria, seeing Pearl Jam in Buenos Aires with 70,000 people, watching the sunrise over Lago Atitlán, Guatemala after a three day hike, crossing the Andes going from Argentina to Chile at dawn, living with locals in the Northern California coastal mountains for a month, watching the snow capped peaks of the Sierra Nevada go red at sunset in Granada, Spain, swimming sea turtles in Barbados, staying on a tiny Caribbean island off the coast of Panama...
Teach, Learn, Share
If you speak Spanish I am always keen to have someone to practice with. Also if you have any special dish from your country that you can cook I would love to learn that!
