Hey all! My name is Evan, I'm a performing artist living in Syracuse NY, and I love to travel. I work in all manner of entertainment production in Syracuse from booking shows, to designing merch for bands, to album covers and show posters. When I'm not working, I'm enjoying my time downtown with friends, catching shows or making comics. I love people and seeing new sights. I'm clean, respectful, patient, helpful, laid back, and seeking to be a model guest.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to get out into the world and play music. I have a band called Late Earth, we write all of our own music and we hope to tour the US and beyond. In order to do that, I want to make friends and connections, build our network and create personal experiences for people willing to listen.

I listen to all music if I can, but currently listening to Sleep of Oldominion, Blues Traveler and Billy Talent. Favorite movies include Splinterheads, The Great Outdoors and The Mask. Favorite books are somewhere between The Man Who Was Thursday by G. K. Chesterton, The God Effect: Quantum Entanglement, Science's Strangest Phenomenon by Brian Clegg and Fight Club by Chuck Palahniuk.

I can teach you how to draw, how to play guitar chords, how to write a song and how to cook. I'm looking to learn anything I can about your world, but specifically new languages, learn new recipes and learn your local music history. Looking to share unique experiences in new places! Anything worth writing about makes for great inspiration.
