ABOUT ME

My name is Olfa, just for the anecdote in France that is the name of a toilet's brand, in Japan a cutter's brand... But don't worry I'm (luckilyyy) none of those two :)
I never sounds so but I also can be serious :)
I'm very interested in Art, new technologies, motorbikes, sports, good food, nature... and I really love to challenge the everyday life or try new/surprising things!
The best you can do for me is to surprise me! :D

PHILOSOPHY

I try not to look down. Life is full of beauty, if we don't find it we might have to discuss this issue with our eyes :)
And I think one of the only way we have to understand the world we're living in, is to stand in our neighbors shoes. Meeting people, sharing, discussing. The more different we are, the more we can learn! :)

I think that can be very interesting for both sides!

I really wish I could this "great host", but really wish surfers can understand some things too, I had some disappointing hosting experiences but I didn't wanted to stop hosting because that is really the best part of the travels to me, and some people have been so good to me that I want to overcome those 'few' bad experiences, If this great person is the 10th you'll host that would be a pity to stop at 9...

I had a big "couch offering" break as I lived in a dormitory for the past two years. But I couch surfed on my side, so sorry for the lack of references :)
Now I have my own apartment (finally!) and I am ready to host back again :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I first couchsurfed in Japan, that was not the first country I visited, but the first I visited couchsurfing. And now this is where I live, might have been a link?
Then I have been cousurfing in France, Belgium, Palestine, Malaysia, Indonesia.

Interests

I love dreaming! That can sound weird said this way, but I think this is the only way we can be able to do fantastic things! I like to believe that If you can dream It you can do it! :)

It depends on the moment, of course.
I won't advertise any artist here :D
But I do like Jazz, Piano, old French songs (the best ones to feel melancholic!), Spanish songs (the best ones to dance!) and some rock music when I need boost myself up ;)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have been an interpret for Palestinian and Israeli kids who came to Paris for speaking about their living situation. And I realized I knew nothing about this conflict, I learned a lot from those kids, I felt extremely close to people who were very far and certainly wouldn't been the person I am today without them.
This is neither diving into an impressive waterfall nor flying with birds above the clouds but this is definitely my best human experience.
(I also saw a lot of other beautiful things after that :D)

Teach, Learn, Share

Anything is good to learn, to teach or to share.
I believe that the day we didn't learned something new is a day lost :D
